Show every trader how far they are from the drawdown limit, alert them before they break it, and let them lock accounts during the sessions they choose — inside your own branded platform.

Prop firms describe drawdown in three main ways, and traders misread all three. The Risk page lets each account carry the model your firm uses, and then shows the trader the one number that matters: how much room is left.
| Model | How the floor moves | Common trader mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Static | Fixed below the starting balance | Forgetting it never resets after a winning week |
| Trailing (intraday) | Rises with new highs, including open profit | Giving back open profit that already raised the floor |
| End-of-day | Recalculated from each day's closing balance | Assuming intraday swings are free when the close is not |
Most "why was I liquidated?" tickets come from traders who did not know where their trailing drawdown sat. A live drawdown-left figure on every account, plus an alert before the line, answers the question before it is asked — and a trader who understands the rule is a trader who renews.
Profit to pass works the same way in the other direction: traders see exactly how far they are from the target, which keeps them engaged through the evaluation.
Lockouts act. A trader can lock an account during chosen sessions — the minutes around CPI, FOMC or NFP, the overnight session, the open — or manually for a set time. While locked, the account is flattened and receives no copies or webhook orders. Copy groups respect it automatically, so a trader running five accounts cannot accidentally trade a locked one through the copier.
Each account carries its own starting balance, drawdown model and profit target. As the balance moves, the platform recalculates drawdown left and profit to pass, and sends an in-app and email alert when a threshold is crossed — early enough for the trader to cut size or stop for the day, rather than after the broker has already acted.
Alerts go to the trader, under your brand. Traders who understand where they stand take fewer avoidable breaches, and avoidable breaches are the ones that turn into refund requests and bad reviews.
Multi-account traders are where risk compounds: one bad order becomes five. The copy engine copies orders rather than positions, so a partial fill on the leader never makes a follower chase a running total. Each follower has its own ratio, and a follower that is locked simply does not receive the copy. When the leader goes flat in a symbol, Protect closes that symbol on the followers, so a missed exit does not leave a follower holding a position the leader no longer has.
The Risk page is informational: it tracks and alerts, it does not close trades on its own. Lockouts do act, as above. Your firm's rule engine at the broker — daily loss limit and auto-liquidation — stays the authority, and keeps working even if a trader's internet drops.
That split is deliberate. Breaches are decided in one place, at the broker; the platform's job is to keep traders from reaching them.
