Add Signal Trade App to Claude as a connector, or to Claude Code or Cursor, and ask about your accounts, P&L, risk and copy groups in plain English. Read-only: it cannot place or change orders.
Claude (claude.ai and the Claude desktop app): no API key needed, you sign in with your Signal Trade App account.
Claude Code (signs in through your browser: run /mcp after adding it)
claude mcp add --transport http signaltradeapp https://signaltradeapp.com/api/mcpCursor (mcp.json, with an API key from the API Keys page, read scope)

}The assistant picks the right tool for your question. Each one is a read of your own data.

Every tool call is an API request, so the API rate limits apply. Recent copies are kept for 24 hours, at most 10, and reset when the server restarts. Each connection creates a read-only key named after the app (for example "Claude (MCP connector)") on your API Keys page; delete it to disconnect.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way AI assistants connect to outside tools. Signal Trade App runs an MCP server at https://signaltradeapp.com/api/mcp. Add it to your assistant with an API key and you can ask things like "what was my P&L this week across all accounts?", "how much drawdown does my Apex account have left?" or "why is my follower not copying?" and get an answer from your live account data.
It is read-only. The assistant can look at your accounts, but it cannot place, change or cancel orders, change settings or move money. It uses the same API key and limits as the REST API, and it only sees what that key can see.
It works with Tradovate, Rithmic and Propr accounts connected to Signal Trade App, including prop firm accounts on those platforms.
An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://signaltradeapp.com/api/mcp that lets AI assistants such as Claude, Claude Code and Cursor read your Signal Trade App accounts, P&L, risk limits and copy groups.
No. The MCP server is read-only. It cannot place, change or cancel orders, or change any settings.
Claude on the web and the Claude desktop app (as a custom connector, with sign-in), Claude Code, and Cursor or any other MCP client that can send an API key in an Authorization header.
A Signal Trade App account with at least one connected broker account. Claude signs in with your account; other apps use an API key with the read scope from the API Keys page.
Remove the connector in Claude, and delete the "Claude (MCP connector)" key on the API Keys page. Deleting the key cuts off access at once.
The assistant only sees what your API key can read, and the key cannot trade. You can delete the key on the API Keys page at any time to cut off access.
