If you copy trades across five or ten prop firm accounts, the end-of-day check takes longer than it should: open each account, read the P&L, check the drawdown, make sure every follower actually copied. With the Signal Trade App connector for Claude, you ask instead. "What did I make today across all accounts?" "Which account is closest to its drawdown limit?" "Did every follower take my last NQ trade?" Claude reads your live account data and answers.
It is read-only. Claude can look at your accounts but cannot place, change or cancel an order, or change a setting. It works with the Tradovate, Rithmic and Propr accounts you have connected to Signal Trade App.
Each question below is answered from your own data through one of the connector's tools. Claude picks the right one for the question.
| Ask Claude | What it reads |
|---|---|
| "What was my P&L today, and this week, across all accounts?" | Daily realized P&L per futures trading day (6 PM to 5 PM ET), per account and in total |
| "Which account has the least drawdown left?" | Each account's remaining drawdown, daily loss limit, profit target and whether it is locked |
| "Are any followers paused, and what ratio is each one on?" | Your copy groups: leader, followers, ratios and paused followers |
| "Did my last trade copy to every follower? How fast?" | The last copy attempts in the past 24 hours, with success or failure and latency |
| "Why is my Apex account not copying?" | Broker connection status, with the error message when a connection is down |
| "What positions and working orders do I have open right now?" | Open positions with open P&L, and pending limit and stop orders read live from the broker |
| "Show my trades on account X this week, with fees." | Closed trades with gross P&L, fees and net P&L, or the individual fills |
The useful part is combining data you would normally read from three screens. A few prompts traders use:
A follower whose P&L drifts away from the leader usually means it missed a trade, is paused, or has a broker connection problem. Ask Claude to check the copy groups and connection status for that account and it will usually tell you which.
No API key to copy. Connecting creates a read-only key named "Claude (MCP connector)" on your API Keys page; delete it any time to disconnect. Using Claude Code or Cursor instead? The MCP server page has the setup for both.
An AI assistant that can place orders on funded accounts is one misread prompt away from a breached evaluation. Reporting is where a chat interface saves the most time and carries no risk, so that is what the connector does. Your risk tools, like the daily P&L lock, keep working exactly as before.
The connector works with any Signal Trade App account that has a broker connected. Start your 5-day free trial, connect your Tradovate or Rithmic accounts, then add the connector in Claude.
Yes, once you add the Signal Trade App connector in Claude and click Allow. It reads the Tradovate, Rithmic and Propr accounts you have connected to Signal Trade App: P&L, positions, orders, trades, drawdown, copy groups and connection status.
No. The connector is read-only. It cannot place, change or cancel orders or change any setting.
Not for Claude. You sign in with your Signal Trade App account and Claude receives a read-only key automatically. Cursor and other MCP clients use an API key from the API Keys page.
Remove the connector in Claude and delete the "Claude (MCP connector)" key on your Signal Trade App API Keys page. Deleting the key cuts off access immediately.
Yes, for accounts on Tradovate or Rithmic that are connected to Signal Trade App, which covers those firms and most other futures prop firms.
