Rithmic gives your firm routing, data and risk. Signal Trade App gives your traders a branded web platform on top of it — copy trading, drawdown alerts, charts, a journal and an API.

Rithmic is the plumbing behind many futures prop firms: order routing, market data, server-side risk and the R|Trader Pro desktop, plus the R|Protocol API (WebSocket and protobuf, with separate order, ticker, history and P&L plants). In R|Trader Pro, auto-liquidation can be set on criteria such as a loss limit or a trailing minimum account balance, and some firms lock these settings during evaluations.
What Rithmic does not provide is a modern, branded trader experience. Traders end up on desktop software or a stack of third-party subscriptions.
Signal Trade App connects to your traders' Rithmic accounts through R|Protocol with their own logins and gives them a web platform under your brand. Your Rithmic risk settings stay the authority; the platform shows traders where they stand and alerts them before a limit.
| Need | Rithmic alone | Rithmic + Signal Trade App |
|---|---|---|
| Platform | R|Trader Pro desktop or third-party | Branded web platform |
| Copy trading across accounts | Third-party copier | Built in, cross-broker |
| Drawdown left / profit to pass | Not shown as such | Live, with alerts |
| Journal | Third-party | Automatic |
| Automation | R|Protocol for developers | Webhooks, REST API, event stream |
Rithmic treats platform login and API order access as separate permissions, and firms control each. For your traders to use a web platform, API access must be enabled on their user IDs. Rithmic also limits concurrent market-data sessions per user, so tell traders which platforms they can run at the same time. We walk through both during setup.
See the prop firm platform overview, pricing, or compare with Tradovate Prop. Running both rails? Signal Trade App mixes Rithmic and Tradovate accounts in one copy group.
Yes. Traders connect their Rithmic accounts with their own logins, and the platform routes orders through R|Protocol. The firm needs API access enabled on those user IDs.
For day-to-day trading, copying, risk visibility and journaling, it can. Your Rithmic risk settings and auto-liquidation remain the authority.
Yes. A Rithmic leader can drive Tradovate followers and the other way round.
As low as $5 per user per month at volume, every feature included. Rithmic fees stay on your existing arrangement.
