Copy a Trading Leader into your own broker account, or share your trades with followers. Live now on the Traders page.
In peer-to-peer copy trading, one trader (the Trading Leader) shares an account and another trader (the follower) copies its orders into their own account. The two are different people with separate logins and separate broker connections. Nobody hands over credentials: each side connects their own account to Signal Trade App, and the copy engine passes the leader's orders to the follower's broker.
This is different from copying between your own accounts. A normal copy group fans one leader account out to your own follower accounts, for example across several prop firm evaluations. Peer-to-peer copying is for following another trader's strategy, or for letting others follow yours. You can use both at once: the account that copies a leader may itself lead one of your own copy groups.
Four steps, all from the Traders page:
Set a public nickname, choose which accounts show results and which allow copying, and approve each follower yourself. Followers see your nickname and the last four characters of the account name, never your real name or email. An account that is itself following a copy group or another trader cannot be offered for copying, so followers never receive copies of copies.
Coming soon: Trading Leaders will be able to charge followers a fee to copy their trades. It is not available yet. Today every peer-to-peer copy is free, so there is nothing to set up for payments. Details will be announced here and on the Traders page when it launches.
Past results do not guarantee future results, so read drawdown as closely as profit. Copies go out as market orders when the leader's orders fill, so your price can differ from the leader's in fast markets. Your own risk limits and your prop firm's rules still apply on your account, so size your ratio against your account, not the leader's, and check whether your firm allows copying a strategy that others also trade.
Read the step-by-step guide to copying a Trading Leader for the full walkthrough, or open the Traders page if you already have an account. Not sure how to pick a leader? Pricing is $30 for the first month, then $15 per month. The 5-day trial requires a card. A self-hosted option is available as a one-time $599 payment. Order routing runs under 50ms on Tradovate and under 5ms on Rithmic.
One trader, the Trading Leader, shares an account and another trader copies its orders into their own broker account. Both keep their own logins; the follower's order size is the leader's order size multiplied by the follower's ratio.
Yes. Request to copy a Trading Leader on the Traders page. When they accept, choose the account to copy into and your ratio. It works with Tradovate and Rithmic accounts, including prop firm accounts, and leader and follower can be on different brokers.
