| Rule | When the stop moves | Set it from |
|---|---|---|
| Auto breakeven | Once the trade is a set amount in profit (dollars or points) | Chart, order ticket, webhook |
| Breakeven after TP1 | The moment your first take profit fills; optional +ticks offset | Chart, order ticket, webhook |
Both fire once per position. If you later move the stop by hand, the rule does not drag it back.
Crypto moves around the clock. A trade that is $300 up at 3 a.m. can be a loss by morning. Moving the stop to entry locks in a no-loss trade without watching the screen, and “breakeven +1 tick” after TP1 covers fees on the runner.
Send a <code>protect</code> message after the entry: <code>{"action": "protect", "symbol": "BTC", "sl": 104000, "tp": [109000, 111000], "beAfterTp1": true, "beOffsetTicks": 1}</code>, or <code>"autoBreakevenUsd": 200</code> to move the stop once the trade is $200 up.
Followers copy fills, not stops. When the leader’s breakeven stop fills, Protect closes each follower in that market.
Yes. Arm it from the chart, the order ticket or a webhook protect message.
The stop moves to your entry the moment your first take profit fills, optionally a few ticks into profit to cover fees.
No. Each rule fires once per position.
